What a status page actually does for a FiveM server
A status page is one public URL your players can check themselves. It answers "is it down?" without anyone having to ask, and it gives you a permanent place to explain what happened when something goes wrong.
That sounds small. In practice it changes three things:
It stops the flood. One link, pinned in your Discord, absorbs the questions that would otherwise land in general chat every time there's a hiccup.
It protects your @everyone. When you're not spending pings on routine downtime, the pings you do send carry weight again. Notification fatigue is the quiet reason communities stop paying attention to their own announcements channel.
It makes you look like you know what you're doing. Every serious platform on the internet has a status page. Having one signals that your server is run properly — which matters when a player is deciding whether to invest a hundred hours into your city.

Update the incident as you work through it, and both stay in sync. When you resolve it, both update again. No copy-pasting between tabs while you're trying to actually fix the problem.

Planned downtime announced in advance is a completely different experience for your players than planned downtime they discover by failing to connect. Schedule it, and it appears on your status page ahead of time so nobody's surprised.

This is the feature most server owners underrate. A huge amount of the work that goes into running a FiveM server is invisible — the scripts you optimised, the bugs you fixed, the exploit you patched at two in the morning. Players don't see any of it, and then they ask why nothing ever changes.
A changelog makes the work visible. It gives your community a reason to check the page even when everything's running fine, and it gives you a receipt for the effort you're putting in.

Your logo and your colours on your status page. It should look like part of your server, not like a third-party tool bolted on.
