Do I need to be a Discord admin to set Phantom up?
Yes — the invite link needs a user with the Manage Server permission to add Phantom to the guild. After that, any admin-tier user you configure can access the dashboard.
Is Phantom really free on every feature?
While Phantom is in early access — yes. Every module, every dashboard page, every command is free for every server. Pricing on full launch is still being finalised, but anything you can do today stays free on your server after launch. No retroactive paywalls.
What does "early access" mean?
Phantom is live and production-ready today — you can add the bot, open the dashboard, configure modules, and use everything right now. Early access means we're still iterating on new features and shaping the roadmap based on real usage. Full launch is coming soon.
What permissions does Phantom need?
Phantom asks for a scoped permission bundle at install. Most features work with the default bundle; role management and moderation require the relevant Discord permissions (Manage Roles, Ban Members, etc). Every denial is surfaced on the Error Log page with a one-step fix.
How does the dashboard know who I am?
Sign in with Discord OAuth. Phantom stores your Discord user id, a refresh token, and your server list. No messages, no DMs, no content Discord doesn't already hand us for the actions we take.
Can I use Phantom alongside other bots?
Absolutely. Phantom doesn't lock in any data or require exclusivity. If you want to run Phantom's moderation alongside a different ticket bot, nothing stops you.
What data does Phantom keep?
Guild settings you configure, moderation case history, tickets you create through us, and giveaway entries for giveaways running through us. Nothing else. Full data export + delete is available on request.
Is there an API?
Not yet. A read-only REST API is on the roadmap and will be announced on the changelog page when it lands.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
