Defence-in-depth, not a single switch

Security isn't one toggle. Phantom separates raid detection (unusual join velocity), nuke detection (unusual admin activity), verification (CAPTCHA + rules gate), quarantine (hide channels from a suspect), firewall (block invites / domains), lockdown (deny-send across the server in one click) and audit-log tracking so you can tune each without over-fitting on one threat.

Lockdown + Quarantine

One-click server-wide lockdown: Phantom denies Send Messages on every channel at once, posts a configurable notice, and restores the exact prior permissions when you lift it — no permission drift. Quarantine is the surgical counterpart: assign it to one suspect account and they lose view on every channel until a mod clears them.

Verification that isn't a wall

CAPTCHA, configurable rule-read gates, or a custom questionnaire at join. Pass → role assigned automatically. Fail → logged for review. No third-party webhooks, no external redirect.

Backups and audit log

Daily automated backups of roles, channels, permissions and settings so a nuke is reversible. The audit log is Phantom's own — richer than Discord's, searchable, filterable by actor, event type, and time window, with a full export.

Common questions

What happens if the anti-nuke mis-fires?

Every anti-nuke trigger requires a confirmation threshold you set — e.g. "3 channel deletions in 30s by the same actor". Sub-threshold events log but don't act.

Does lockdown affect staff?

Staff roles (configured in Guild Settings) are exempt from lockdown's Send Messages deny so mods can still coordinate in #staff.

How long are backups kept?

30 daily backups by default; older ones rotate out. You can mark specific backups as pinned to keep them indefinitely.
